In this post, we look at what’s happening locally this summer.

What a summer it has been too. Anyone of a certain vintage, like myself, will recall the heatwave of 1976, but I muse whether the temperatures and dryness this year will beat that year.

In the Sea Life Centre in Brighton, an event called The Loop continues until December 2018. It forms a fascinating insight into the recycling ‘loop” and the impact of waste on marine life.

The Windmill Cinema in Littlehampton has a packed events calendar, including an outdoor screening of The Greatest Showman and when temperatures dip (hopefully) in December, we can look forward to a performance of The Nutcracker.

Perhaps not the most attractive of titles, but the motives behind the initiative are great. Why not take part in a Rubbish Walk on the fourth Wednesday of every month in Rye? More details here.

There’s many more events in our wonderful county and if you know of any, feel free to comment below or via our social media pages.
